The NIGERIAN FEDERATION OF SOCIAL SCIENTIST (NiFESS)
The Nigerian Federation of Social Scientist is an organization of Nigerian professionals in Social Sciences. NiFESS is the umbrella that integrates professionals and undergraduates of Social Sciences across Nigeria, giving us a voice that accords us the ingenuity and identity we possess under a unified platform.
NiFESS champions the affairs of Social Scientist across Nigeria as it aims:
- To unite every undergraduate, graduate, post graduate students of social sciences discipline across Nigeria.
- To serve as the umbrella body to regulate the affairs of social sciences discipline in Nigeria.
- To advocate for the rights of social scientist in Nigeria.
- To create a uniform platform where social scientist across Nigeria can amplify their voices.
- To organize research summits and conferences to improve the field of social sciences and produce results to improve the socio-economic value of Nigeria.
- To organize the Nigerian National Economic Conference.
- To create a platform where every discipline in social sciences can be valued professional across Nigeria.
- To create a fellowship for professionals and academics of social sciences.
- To institutionalize the school of public policy and governance for Nigerian social scientist.
- To represent Nigeria in the global social science society/community.
